Specialty Services for
Children and Caregivers

I am an early childhood specialist and focus on supporting kiddos from birth to age 8.
I partner with your family to identify an approach that fits with your goals and values. I specialize in providing brief, effective services to kiddos birth to 8, but I have experience support youth of all ages.
You can read about some of my most used therapies below.

Parent-Child Interaction Therapy
I am certified in Parent Child Interaction Therapy through PCIT International and have used this live, hands on training program since 2012 to support children and families with a variety of challenges. Some of these include difficulty listening to directions, attention challenges, adjustment to a new family configuration, the history of family abuse or neglect, and attachment based challenges. Read more about PCIT here.

Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
Caregivers and parents often wonder if stressful experiences their kiddos have had would be considered traumatic. There is no one definition of trauma. If you are concerned about an event or experience your child has gone through, please reach out and we can discuss if this therapy could be appropriate. TF-CBT provides psychoeducation about trauma and stressful events, their impact on kiddos and family systems, and pulls from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to assist kids in recovering from trauma and developing skills to increase safety, improve health, and to ensure they can go throughout their daily activities using all of their strengths. You can read a bit more about TF-CBT here.
